Brothers and sisters, we need to give thanks to nature for giving us all the ingredients for the making of this creamy keto chicken Alfredo or keto alfredo sauce as my husband would call it.
For a little bit of history, this sauce is named after Alfredo Di Lelio who first made this dish in his restaurant in the early twentieth century.
Moving on,
In my home, we like having keto fettuccine alfredo, have you ever had it before? It’s great, especially when I use this keto white sauce.
This sauce can be classified as one of the best low carb spaghetti sauce. But we are not going to be making spaghetti today. We are going to use broccoli. Any fan in the house?
Storytime! There’s was a time I hated Alfredo sauce, my grandma tried all she could to make me see the health benefits of eating alfredo sauce along-side chicken. Whenever we visited grandma, I would always frown whenever she served my kids with alfredo sauce in her house.
I hated it so much that the whole family would literally beg me to have a taste at least, I’d just ignore them and go for another option.
On a faithful Sunday, the whole family gathered together and we were about to have dinner. Guess who was cooking? Yeah! You guessed right “Grandma”. Do you really want to know what she was making? I am sure you know already.
Something was different about this day, I mean, she would normally serve her alfredo sauce with fettuccine, but this time it was chicken. It looked so great, I then decided to finally have a taste.
“Takes the first bite”. “Wow, not so bad, can I have more?”.
To date, I can’t understand why I never really liked alfredo sauce. It is amazingly outstanding in every possible way, especially when had with chicken and some broccoli.

Stir until everything is a perfect mixture. And voila! Your keto cream sauce is ready.
You can serve it with fried chicken breast or broccoli. To serve with chicken, prepare your chicken by seasoning it with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and some vegetable oil or Olive oil.
If you find avocado oil it would be perfect because it has a higher smoke point than Olive oil and is healthier than regular oil. This oil is dynamic, to say the least! Slice up the well-cooked chicken, putting it over your broccoli!
Drizzle the magical low carb Alfredo sauce. You will be having a low carb chicken Alfredo to please your palate.
Can I Store This Alfredo Sauce In The Freezer?
Nope, don’t go there. It is best served and enjoyed hot and from the fire. If you store this in the freezer you might not like the after taste. I tried it once and I wasn’t happy. Basically, when making this, make sure you prepare what you and your family can finish per time.
Is Alfredo Sauce Keto?
Yes, the carb count is pretty low. There’s nothing to worry about.
Final Words
The carbs in Alfredo sauce is quite low. What tends to make the carb count slightly high would be the broccoli or any other ingredient you wish to add. But generally, Alfredo sauce is a good keto diet! The choice of cheese should be taken into consideration as this can help in giving you a rich taste.
