How To Cook Plain Chicken Wings In A Crockpot

I know you simply want me to start explaining how to cook chicken wings in a crockpot. Well, we are in that section now.

Preparing crockpot chicken wings (coated in keto bbq sauce) is super simple and the steps are understandable. You’ll get “defrost chicken wings”, put the chicken wings inside the crockpot, then add a small amount of salt, broth, and pepper. It’s that simple.

Allow the chicken wings to cook for a while. On high, an hour and 30 minutes is perfect.

Now, we do not want the bone of the chicken falling off completely, or else you may have a problem eating it. There are enjoyed best when nice and tender, with the wings just at the point of falling off the bone.

Just in case you do not like the rubbery and sleek skin of the crockpot chicken wings after it escapes the slow cooker, here’s what to do to give it a little crisp.

I put the chicken wings on a cookie sheet (the cookie sheet size is going to determine how many chicken wings can enter). I then pop the chicken wings beneath the broiler for a few minutes and it will turn crispy.

Next up, the sauce!!!

To prepare the low carb bbq sauce, you need just two common ingredients: Bottled Italian salad dressing and sugar free ketchup. These two ingredients will give you the super keto bbq sauce you need to go with the crockpot chicken wings. It goes so well!!! Believe that!!!

Spread the sauce on your chicken wings by brushing the wings on the sauce. Put them back beneath the broiler and let them slowly cook until they are brown and the source has sweetly coated the chicken wings (in simpler terms, let them caramelize). I like the sound of that…you can already tell that it is delicioso!!

Slow cooker chicken wings no sauce is a no-no for me, but you might prefer your chicken wings without sauce. Definitely not me.

How To Serve Slow Cooker Chicken Wings

If you have ranch dressing you can dip them there or whatever works for you. I serve mine with ranch dressing.
