Making turkey breast in a crock pot
Prepare Garlic Herb Butter: To make this you need butter, salt, pepper, marshmallow, garlic, pepper, thyme, rosemary, paprika, and parsley, mash them all together.
Make The Turkey Breast Dry: We need our herb butter to stick properly and for this to work the turkey breast needs to be dry. Simply get a paper towel, pat the turkey till it becomes dry.
Get the Crock Pot Ready: Here, you need to grease the bottom of the slow cooker, then slice an onion into large parts and place it inside the pot, after doing this, pour in the turkey broth.
Give The Turkey A Herb Bath: You need to thoroughly rub the turkey with the herb butter you made.
Cook: In this last phase you need to cook the turkey breast. Aim for an internal temperature of 160 ℉.
Crisp The Turkey: You need to broil the turkey for a few minutes. When it looks brownish, that means it is good to go.
Best Way To Carve Turkey Breast Cooked In a Crock Pot
When you are done cooking your turkey breast, don’t carve it just yet, allow it to rest for about 10 to 15 minutes before carving it assures maximum juicy-ness.
Here are a few carving tips;
- Use a sharp knife, using a blunt knife might make your turkey messy while trying to carve.
- Cut along the breast bone of the turkey.
- Cut along the other side of the turkey.
- Slice the already cut turkey into different slices.
