The first step is mixing all the acquire ingredients in a large mixing bowl, after doing that, spread the mixture in a skillet. You can also use a baking dish if you want, but my preference will be a cast-iron skillet because at the end of the day it leaves the keto cornbread with a little crunchy bottom. • ½ teaspoon of salt

  • ¼ teaspoon of baking soda

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to about 350 degrees.
  • Spray the skillet with nonstick spray, this won’t allow the cornbread stick to the skillet.
  • In a mixing bowl, mix together the cream, eggs, and butter until it is all combined.
  • Add the sugar substitute, baking soda, coconut flour and salt to the mixing bowl and continue mixing till everything is even.
  • Spread the mixture on the skillet and bake for about 15-20 minutes.
  • Allow it to cool for a while before serving.

Notes

  • To make it more exciting to eat. The keto cornbread should be smeared with butter and a drizzle of a sugar-free honey substitute. You can also decide to replace coconut flour with almond flour and have an almond flour cornbread.
  • You can as well leave out the sweetener too. Cornbread is naturally sweet so if you don’t want the extra goodness, then you might as well leave it out.
