chaffles

Once, I looked at the weighing scale with myself on it and I realized I had shot up from 54kg to 63kg. What!! That was so much information to take in.

I realized that for some good months, I had stopped paying attention to what I eat. I got so busy at work… I run two jobs, I come back late and I try to muddle up something to fill myself with.

After I noticed this disastrous change, I tried as much as possible to keep myself from eating unhealthy foods and guess what has been consistently helping out? Chaffles!

And you know what is more interesting about this? It is the viral low carb waffle and its recipe is very straight forward.

What is a chaffle?

I know you may be wondering… what is a Chaffle? Well, most people have not had the chance to come in contact with this healthy diet though some persons have begun a dieting plan for themselves or belong to an online diet forum, not to worry, I’m right here to make it right.

keto chaffle

I am not particularly sure of where the keto Chaffle originated from or who was the first to develop a basic Chaffle recipe but I can be most convinced to tell you that Chaffle keto recipe is real.

A Chaffle is a special kind of low carb waffle that is basically made of eggs and cheese!. Weird combo, right? Well, there is so much sense in whatever looks like nonsense.

Before you decide running off, there is something a little extra you need to know. Please follow right.

Chaffles that are made with eggs and mozzarella cheese somehow tastes like a waffle and it’s more enjoyable if you do this with butter and sugar-free syrup. I have not particularly heard of anyone who has tasted this and does not enjoy it or has the intention of eating it again.

You see! This keto Chaffle is one of the best if you ask me.

There are other types of chaffles that have different methods to make them, there’s the one made from cheddar cheese and eggs which makes a great substitute for a hamburger bun.

Another kind is Chaffle made with cocoa powder and is called brownie Chaffle. You can as well use pumpkin for the keto Chaffle and you easily get pumpkin chaffles. With Chaffle, you have been offered an opportunity to freestyle and build your own Chaffle recipes. When you do, don’t hesitate to share with us the amazing beauty. We look forward to hearing from you.

How To Make Chaffle With Ease

It’s very easy to learn how to make Chaffle. The basic Chaffle recipe has just two ingredients. These two are 1 large egg and 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella.

The making could differ to some extent as people’s styles and tastes matter a whole lot when it has to do with making food. I could easily prefer finely shredded cheese but you may prefer thicker shreds. This doesn’t mean one way is better than the other. It only means that one’s preference is different from the other.

Here’s what to do.

Firstly, get a bowl and whisk the egg for a while, add the cheese and continue whisking. When done, add half of the mixture into the waffle maker for about 2-3 minutes. Remove the first set from the waffle maker.

Pour in the remaining half of the mixture in the waffle maker and allow for some minutes.

After removing it from the waffle maker, you can allow it to get to rest for some more minutes, maybe 1-2 minutes.

To give it a bread-like texture what can be done is to add a little of coconut flour or almond flour to the set waffle. And this is strictly on preference. If you don’t think this goes down well with you

then you do not need to try it.

Serving Chaffles

Serving chaffles is as important as knowing how to make chaffles. One of the best servings is with a pat of butter and sugar free syrup. This is best for an enjoyable treat. Two sugar-free syrups that I have made use of overtime is the Choc-Zero’s Maple Syrup and the Lakanto Maple Syrup.

best chaffle recipe

Choc-zero’s maple syrup is thick and sticky like the regular everyday syrup. It doesn’t really have a jazzy aftertaste. On the other hand, the Lakanto Maple Syrup is not quite as thick as the Choc- Zero Maple Syrup. We can’t categorically say that one is better than the other. Like I said earlier, preference matters a whole lot when defining likes and wants.

Final Words

Chaffles are a whole vibe. It soothes the taste buds while keeping your size unhampered with. When trying to make chaffles keto, it is important to make the process an exciting, go for a waffle maker that does not take a lot of space.
