Keto Brussel sprouts are my newly found love. Keto Brussel sprouts with bacon have become a good way to get my friends coming knocking every Friday evening. Most children get to adolescence and never get to enjoy Brussel sprouts because of its funny taste and some have ignored it even till death. That’s the irony of life.
But this keto Brussel sprouts recipe is here to change things. I have actually surprised myself by living to love Brussel sprouts unconditionally, Brussel sprouts are keto-friendly.
If you have kids that are like mine, keto roasted Brussel sprouts and bacon is a good way to kill the hate for Brussel sprouts in their tender hearts.
Do you think they’ll not like the taste? I mean the kids. Well, why not give it a try. This one tastes way better.
So, on a fateful Sunday morning, I’m in my kitchen and fighting with myself on what to make for a healthy keto breakfast dish. I think “Brussel sprouts and bacon!”. And then, I start the making process when my son walks to me and says “Eww, Mom, Not that”.
The funny thing is, this was the first time I was going to make Brussel sprouts and bacon, he has never tasted that combo before. He totally hates roasted frozen Brussel sprouts and that hate was about to transfer to the innocent Brussel sprout and bacon recipe that I had just recently learned how to make.
I insisted while he persisted. Guess who won? Me of course.
“Just give it a try, I said”. After growling for a while and finally having the first bite, I could see the shocked look on his face. “Wow, mom this tastes a whole lot better,”… He said!
If my 9-year-old kid could like this recipe? Your’s might too.
